How we make our guides

grobee guides help business owners get more customers. They are published by MLabs Digital Private Limited. This page explains where the numbers come from and who checks them.

Where the data comes from

• Our own reports. When owners run a free grobee report we see public Google information about their business. Guides show only totals across many businesses (for example, how many salons in a city have a website), never a single business, and only when at least 30 businesses are in the sample.
• Google Keyword Planner. Monthly searches, busy months and typical cost per click, for the category and city.
• The people who write them. Local insight that no dataset has, written by a named person.

Human review

We use AI to draft some sections. A guide cannot be published until a person has rewritten a real share of the draft, written the local insight section by hand, and put their name on it. Numbers come from the data above and are never written by AI.

Updates

Data sections refresh every month. Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We review every guide at least every three months. If you spot a mistake, write to hello@grobee.ai.

No paid placements

Businesses featured in a guide are chosen by our editors. Nobody pays to be featured.
